A SELL-OUT audience enjoyed the annual show performed by young dancers in the Dawn Chapman School of Dance annual show.
Over 90 dancers, ranging in age from three-years to 17, put on a showcase of group and solo performances singing and dancing in ballet, tap, modern, disco, ballroom, cheerleading and musical theatre at the performance at Todmorden Hippodrome on Sunday, December 21.
Dancers from the school worked well together to make the show fabulous, which entertained the crowds with numbers such as Mickey Mouse March, Alice in Wonderland and Hey Boys, Hey Girls.
Amelia Gregory, aged six, Elizabeth Hildrew, seven, Fleur Armitage, 11, and Cathy Barker, 15, were in the spotlight this year with their solo routines, each confidently performed to the packed theatre, said Dawn.
"Our dancers work very hard practising and perfecting their routines for the show and it's always nice to end the school year with a big performance. I am very proud of all the dancers that took part in the show and I can't wait to start planning this year's show," added Dawn.
