I WOULD like to thank everyone who attended this year’s Remembrance Day parade, this is not about remembering or celebrating war, it is very simply about remembering those who sacrificed their lives fighting for us.

I for one will never forget.

Looking back at the very well attended Garden of Remembrance, the amount of wreaths that were laid, the people who lined the route; I am assured that I am not on my own in remembering what they did for us.

I would also like to thank Peter Kelly of Warburton’s Funeral Service for the generous donation which allowed the purchase of a new standard for the TRBL.
