CHILDREN will be showing their creative side during a special exhibition at a sewing cafe.
Pupils from Ferney Lee School, Todmorden, are exhibiting some of their artwork at Cheeky Sew and Sew, Rochdale Road, from Friday for six weeks.
The art has been produced by children of different ages and is on a mixture of themes.
A special open evening will be held on Friday from 6pm until 8pm for people to come and see the pictures and meet some of the budding young artists.
Tansy Dyer, who owns the sewing cafe, said: “Children who are exhibiting and family and friends are particularly welcome to come along and see their work on display but anyone with an interest will be welcome.
“Refreshments will be served and there will be a couple of craft activities to do as well.”
Tansy said people are welcome to come along and view the children’s artwork during the six-week exhibition.
Opening hours are Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and Thursday evening from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
Cheeky Sew and Sew is also running a workshop showing how to make a simple roll blind for the home on Saturday from 11am until 4pm.
On Wednesday, there will be a session about seam and hem techniques from 6-8pm.
