Comedy and folk on bill

FOLK music, comedy and a book launch are on the bill at the Trades Club over the coming days.

On Friday, guitarist Michael Chapman will be on stage. Described as a “brilliant folk guitarist’ by The Independent, he will be supported by Luke Hirst and Sarah Smout. Doors open at 8pm.

The club hosts the monthly Hebden Bridge comedy evening on Sunday at 8pm. It will feature Ivan Brackenbury’s Hospital Radio Roadshow and Ian D Montfort.

There will be strong language and those attending must be aged over 18. Tickets are priced £6 in advance or £8 on the door.

On Wednesday, Will Kaufman will launch his book ‘Woody Guthrie, American Radical’. There will also be a live performance at the event, which gets underway at 8pm.
