A SPORTS development charity is now inviting membership applications from groups in Todmorden.
Sported offers support and funding to voluntary and community organisations that use sport to help improve the lives of disadvantaged young people.
Members can get personal support and access to online resources including business planning.
There is also a small grant programme offering up to £2,000 and larger grants of up to £10,000 available.
Some members will be eligible for one-to-one mentor support to help with development plans, budgeting and business planning.
The charity was founded by Sir Keith Mills, the deputy chairman of LOCOG - the organising committee for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.
