There were tricks and plenty of treats for the audience at the Frou Frou Club’s “Haunted Honeys” Halloween spectacular.

Staged at the Little Theatre in Hebden Bridge, the venue was decorated in Halloween style and the seasonal show featured burlesque performers from all over the country.

Organiser Lady Wildflower said: “Everyone had a really good time. Most people in the audience dressed up and made a massive effort, which I think always adds to the atmosphere.”

The event also marked the two year anniversary of the Frou Frou Club.

“It’s absolutely flown by,” Lady Wildflower said.

“In that time we have had nine sold out shows and the burlesque festival as well.

“Lots of my students have made their performing debut at the club.”

Lady Wildflower is also organiser of the Hebden Bridge Burlesque Festival.

Plans are already well underway for the 2014 event, which will be held at venues in Hebden Bridge, Todmorden and Mytholmroyd.
