A TODMORDEN schoolgirl is set to appear on BBC One’s Blue Peter on Tuesday.

Last year Susannah Leah, who attends Todmorden High School, won a competition to design a TARDIS for hit BBC science-fiction show Doctor Who.

As part of the prize Susannah got to meet actor Matt Smith, have a tour of the studio, received two Blue Peter badges and see her design made into a real-life TARDIS.

The capsule will appear on Doctor Who on Saturday May 14 and there is also set to be a commemorative TARDIS toy made.

Blue Peter starts at 4.30pm.
