New craft groups for stitchers and knitters
A SEWING cafe is hosting two new craft groups.
Cheeky Sew and Sew, on Rochdale Road, Todmorden, is running a sewing group on Thursdays from 6.30pm until 8.30pm and a knitting group on Fridays from 10.30am until 12.30pm. The weekly, drop-in groups are free and open to stitchers and knitters of all abilities.
A spokesperson said: “The sewing and knitting groups are there to provide an opportunity to meet like minded people, come and share ideas and create in company, as well as have an audience to show off your finished work to.”
Hand and machine stitchers, rag rug makers, quilters and embroiderers are welcome at the sewing group. Knitters, crocheters and felters are all welcome at the knitting group.
