Todmorden

An Anne Lister exhibition organised by the West Yorkshire Archive Service in Calderdale runs at Todmorden Library until June 26. The exhibition will be an introduction to her life and lesbian loves. There will also be a book sale at the library on Friday June 11.

The next Oak over 50s 'Drop-in Friday' will take place at Central Methodist Church on June 11 from 10am until 3pm. Tai Chi sessions take place at Yew Tree Court, Walsden, on Fridays from 9.40am until 10.40am. Chair-based Dru Yoga sessions are held at Roomfield House on Tuesdays from 2-3pm. HX7 Jazz presents the Sam Crockatt Quartet at the Trades Club tonight (Thursday). The band's album 'Howeird' won the 2009 Parliamentary Jazz Award for best album. The 'Be The Change Symposium' will take place at Holme Street Arts Centre on Saturday June 12 from 10am until 5.30pm. An eight-mile walk from Haworth to Hebden Bridge will be held on Wednesday June 16. Meet Jeff at the bus stop at Hebden Bridge train station to catch the 500 service to Haworth and walk back to Hebden Bridge. A packed lunch and bus fare and required. To book a place, call 01422 844518.

A 'Ramble 'n' Rave' will take place at Mytholmroyd Community Centre on Friday June 11. Organised by members of Mytholmroyd Scout Group, the evening will begin at 6pm with a treasure hunt, followed by a barbecue at 8.30pm and live music from 9pm. Admission is 5 per family or 2 per person.

The next Calderdale Heritage Walk will be 'Ryburn and Baitings' on Sunday June 13. The walk will look at farming, early industry, old roads, the moors and interesting buildings.
