Students prepare for future careers

STUDENTS have completed a course preparing them for their future careers.

Sixth formers from Todmorden High School took part in the progression module run by Leeds Metropolitan University.

They covered four units including “you and your career”, “managing your money”, “marketing yourself” and “exploring your future”.

Students submitted a portfolio of work covering all the areas.

They were presented with certificates during a special ceremony at the university.

There was special recognition for Laura Roche, who received an award for progress, and Robyn Stansfield, who was presented with an award for excellence.
