Summer crafts at sewing cafe

Have your say

A SEWING cafe is running weekly kids craft events in August to encourage children to come along and get creative.

These include making an animal doorstop; making “hair candy” such as scrunchies or hairbands; making a skull and crossbones patch for your clothes; and drawing and making a mini monster.

Sessions run at Cheeky Sew and Sew, on Rochdale Road, Todmorden, on Wednesday afternoons and are suitable for ages eight upwards. They last one to two hours and cost from £5.

Hand or machine sewing is an option.

The sewing cafe also runs pay by the hour “make and do” craft activities suitable for families.
