A TOTAL of 25 Todmorden High School students performed “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Contact Theatre in Manchester.
The year ten and 11 pupils took part in the performance as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival, which involves 800 schools around the country.
It was the result of three months of hard work.
Year ten performing arts student Persephone Swales-Dawson said: “I really enjoyed it.
“It was really good to be able to perform in a professional theatre.”
Fellow pupil Warren Burridge said: “I didn’t know much about Shakespeare before but I really enjoyed it.”
