Cyclist, 77, injured in collision

A 77-year-old cyclist was injured in a minor collision with a Ford Transit van on Hollins Road, Walsden, on Tuesday January 27.
The cyclist, from Todmorden, was taken to Rochdale Infirmary after the incident at 9.47am. His injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening.
The road was closed temporarily while police waited for an update from the hospital. It was re-opened later in the morning.
