TWELVE-YEAR-OLD Fleur Armitage has successfully auditioned for the English Youth Ballet's performance of the ballet Giselle which will be staged in March at the charter theatre in Preston 2010.
English Youth Ballet presents full length ballets in regional theatres across the UK giving young dancers aged between eight and 18 the chance to dance alongside professional ballerinas.
Fleur studies dance at the Dawn Chapman School of Dance in Todmorden and has been taught by Dawn since she was six years old. She studies ballet, tap and modern dance.
This is the second time this year that Fleur has successfully auditioned to perform with the EYB and both Dawn and all her fellow students are extremely proud of her.
