TODMORDEN'S fame is stretching far and wide as people take an interest in the town's innovative food project.
Guests on the Incredible Edible Todmorden's Tod Grow Forum webpage are from all corners of the world, and the Todmorden News article about the fish farm project has travelled as far as Australia.

The NASA Ames Research Centre near Moffat is on the list of guests on the forum, as well as people from Toronto and Barrie in Canada; Erfurt and Frankfurt in Germany; Rentina in Greece; San Jose in Puerto Rico; Bucharest in Romania and St Petersburg in Russia. People in Poland and Serbia have also expressed interest and there are a number of places in Britain including Iron Bridge, Solihull and Rotherham represented on the site.

As well as interest from the NASA research centre United States web surfers have visited the site from Albuquerque, Atlanta, Eldorado, Fort Lauderdale, San Fransisco, Sunnyvale, Wichita and Whitewater.

- PHOTOS, poems, recipes, memories, growing tips, all these and more are needed to create a living history of the food project in Todmorden.

As a parallel project to Incredible Edible Todmorden the Cooking Up The Future: A Survivor's Handbook will combine all food related stories and anecdotes.

"We want photos of gardens as they grow, we want to catch a bit of the history as we go into the future," said Pam Warhurst, one of the driving forces behind Incredible Edible Todmorden.

"Similar to the Eden Project, where they created a book about their work, we'd like to produce our own and everyone is invited to submit photos, or whatever for the book. With it being a handbook for surviving climate change we want to say to other towns and communities if we can do it so can you."
