Man's body recovered inTodmorden

POLICE have recovered the body of a man who is thought to be a missing person from Blackburn.
Officers found the dead man, believed to be 37-year-old Robert Fielding, in a rural location in Todmorden at about 9.30am on Monday morning.

Mr Fielding was last seen at 4.30pm on Saturday by his partner at his Blackburn home when he told her he was going to Tesco and would be back within an hour. He did not return.

Formal identification of the body has yet to take place. Police said there are no suspicious circumstances and Mr Fielding's family are being supported by officers.
