CONGRATULATIONS are in order for three dancers from the Dawn Chapman School of Dance who got through to the finals of the International Dance Supplies (IDS) Catalogue Modelling Competition.
Fourteen-year-old Chelsea Judson, Raven Eames, aged 10 and Lois Shackleton, aged six, were among thousands of young hopefuls from dance schools all over the country who entered the national competition run annually for young people to model dancewear and accessories.

They were put through auditions before being whittled down to about 40 in total who will appear in the new catalogue, launched in August.

Three more of the dance school's students, ten-year-old Sophie Lally, Shelley Mill, aged 11 and Olivia Krogulski, aged eight, also made it as far as the semi-finals, making it an excellent day for the Dawn Chapman School of Dance.

Dance teacher and owner Dawn Chapman said the girls enjoyed the competition with the winners appearing in the finished product. She added that all the girls had made her very proud and they were a credit to the dance school.
