Ready for entries to Show's arts and crafts section

THE arts and crafts section of Todmorden Show, which is on June 21, is now ready to receive entries for this year's contest.
Schedules and entry forms are in the Tourist Information Centre, Todmorden Library, Todmorden Community College, Cryer's newsagent's and through local schools.

Classes for competitors in the adult section are: handicraft, woodwork, flower arrangements, baking, painting - pastel or drawing, three dimensional art and photography. A new cup has been donated, "The Dennon's Rose Bowl" for the best entry in adult flowers. Prize money in the adult sections has been donated by Weir Minerals Europe Ltd.

School sections include the same as for adults with the additions of handwriting and design and technology. Children's rosettes have been sponsored by Weir Minerals Europe Ltd and Margaret's China and Glass, Burnley Road, Todmorden.
