“Cars Collide” by The Trophy Hearts, a four-piece band featuring former Todmorden High School student Kristian Heath on bass, will feature on a promotional video for Aquascutum’s autumn/winter collection starring supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Steve Coomber, vocalist in the band, said they were really pleased.

“We were playing a gig in Soho and some people from the office just happened to come down,” he said.

“We gave them a CD, they took it back and said they wanted it as a soundtrack.

“It’s on a video they use for all their promotional stuff.

“We were really pleased. It’s good experience for us and helps get our music out there.”

The band, whose other members are guitarist Alex Emery and drummer Dave Card, formed in November 2007 and comes up to Todmorden to practise.

Steve said: “We spend quite a lot of time here. We come up from London in the summer to do our creative work here. It gives us time to play together.”

The band will be supporting Wheatus at a gig in Brighton on October 31.
