THE Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire will present employees at Weir Minerals Europe Ltd with the Queen's Award for Enterprise on Friday July 25.
More than 200 members of staff will be joined by Mayor of Todmorden, Coun Julie Stansfield, Deputy Mayor of Calderdale, Coun David O'Neill, local dignitaries, selected international customers and suppliers at the ceremony which starts at noon.
The Todmorden-based company heard it would be receiving the award in April in recognition of its outstanding performance in international trade.
Managing director Kevin Spencer attended the Queen's Award reception at Buckingham Palace last week where he was presented to the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
Nigel Halstead, who has just completed 42 years service with the company, also attended the reception.
Mr Halstead started work aged 15 and is now the night shift manager for the whole Todmorden site.
