Airlift after crash

TWO men were airlifted to hospital after a two-vehicle accident on the border of Blackshaw Head and Cornholme.

The incident, involving a red Vauxhall Astra and a white Ford Transit, happened on Kebs Road.

The driver of the Astra, a 22-year-old Todmorden man, was cut out of the car by Todmorden Fire Officers and suffered a broken leg.

His passenger was taken to Leeds General Infirmary complaining of spinal injuries and the van driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
