CHILDREN brought their favourite saints to life during a special assembly.

To mark All Saints’ Day on Tuesday, pupils at St Joseph’s Primary School dressed up as St George, St Solomon, St Elizabeth and more to give a talk about the lives of the religious figures.

Headteacher Maria Cooper said the children had really enjoyed it.

“We celebrated these figures that have gone before us who tried their best to do their very best and that is what we are all striving for.”

The pupils also attended a party, organised by the Parish Pals, which featured a variety of games.
