An Otley man who was imprisoned for storing stolen vehicles at his unit on Tong Park Industrial Estate has been ordered to pay back nearly £30,000 worth of assets gained through crime.

Oliver Firth, 27, of Ghyll Beck Drive, Otley, was arrested in January following the activation of a tracker on a stolen Range Rover with further stolen car parts found in his unit.

He was sentenced in February to two years imprisonment.

During a hearing earlier today, Bradford Crown Court was told that Firth had benefitted by £128,600.00 through criminal enterprise.

His available assets were valued at £28,297.70. He was ordered to repay this money within the next six months or face a further 15 months in prison.
