YOUNG and older alike donned their capes and dug out Dracula fangs for a day and night of frightful fun on Halloween.
At Caterpillar Day Nursery staff and children said they had a “fangtastic” time, lunching on “bat” sandwiches and other tasty treats as well as themed games and other fun.
Later on, scary costumes were the order of the day for those attending a seasonal film screening at Todmorden’s Unitarian Church.
The church was hosting a special showing of the Vincent Price classic Hammer Horror film The Fall Of The House Of Usher.
Committee members decorated the 19th Century Gothic building in suitable scary apparel and guests, many of whom arrived in Halloween costume, were treated to some spooky eats!
