Children at a Todmorden primary school ended the academic year on a high note with a presentation of awards for achievement.
Staff, parents, governors and children gathered together at St Joseph’s Primary School to celebrate at their final assembly of the year and congratulate the year six pupils for their hard work and achievements throughout the year.
Louise Askins won the achievement award and Igor Powlowski picked up the progress prize.
Amelia Denker was presented with the McKean Trophy for outstanding contribution to school life.
Alison Donelly received the citizenship award and the sportsperson award went to Harry Ashworth.
Headteacher Maria Cooper said she was very proud of the pupils and wished them all every success for the future as they move on to secondary school.
There were also awards presented for road safety, attendance, music, star pupils and sporting achievements, along with special mentions and thanks for team captains, councillors, buddies, leaders and prefects.
