This weekend, Madelaine, a year seven student at Todmorden High School competed in her fourth international Judo tournament in Amsterdam.

Madelaine was put into a higher weight class at the last minute, therefore having to compete against bigger competitors than ever before; she stepped up to the challenge, however and brought home a silver medal.
