Heritage Festival and open weekend included guided tours of Hebden Bridge Picture House

Hebden Bridge Picture House gave people the chance to explore the 1920s auditorium and foyer and screened some family-friendly short films.

Tours through the morning included a brief history of the Picture House and visits to the projection box, back-stage and behind the screen area.

Additionally, the Friends of Hebden Bridge Picture House were on hand to sell hundreds of film posters that have been on display in the light boxes outside the Picture House. Members of the Friends group were there to talk to visitors about getting more involved in helping the cinema. All money raised will go towards the Picture House’s work.
