HIGH winds and rain caused disruption for motorists up and down the upper Calder Valley on Tuesday.
Bacup Road in Todmorden wasclosed for over two and a half hours after winds of up to 50mph caused a tree to fall on a silver Ford Focus, blocking the highway.
A tree also fell and blocked Burnley Road, Todmorden.
Nobody was injured in either incident.
Motorists also faced delays in Mytholmroyd after blocked drains overflowed and left surface water on Burnley Road at Brearley, Mytholmroyd.
