Cornholme gardeners have come up trumps following an appeal for more gardens for the second Cornholme Open Gardens event in just over a week’s time.
Visitors will now be able to take a peak at 14 lovely gardens between noon and 5pm on Sunday, June 15.
The organisers say it is a “real happy valley!” with everything from Bijou Backyards to an organic permaculture Market Garden on view, via a magical and precipitous Himalayan Garden.
The trail map to 14 gardens can be obtained from the Old Library at Parkside Road, which is also something of a centre of operations.
There will be a plant stall, refreshments and a slide show available watch.
The organisers say: “Take a delightful walk around our lovely valley and explore the further reaches of Cornholme, whilst discovering all sorts of beautiful views and spaces.”
The event is free and for more details you can contact Shirley on email@example.com or 01706 810902, or check out www.oldlibrary.org/ for more information.
“Coming from Todmorden on the A646 The Old Library is at Parkside Road just off the main Burnley Road on the immediate right past the Waggon and Horses and railway bridge. If coming by satnav use the postcode OL14 8NH to find it,” said the spokesman.
