HEADLINE guests Kay Mellor and Gaynor Faye will be at Hebden Bridge Picture House on Sunday to celebrate the town council’s takeover of the historic building.
The gala night takes place from 7.30pm and on the bill will be Fanny and Elvis - written by Kay and staring Gaynor.
Coun Susan Press, who chairs the town council’s picture house committee, said: “It’s going to be a great night for everyone and we’re thrilled Kay and Gaynor will be there, as well as everyone who has contributed to making this happen.”
Tickets - priced at £8 (£7 concessions), will include a hot drink, cake and popcorn and Coun Press said people who want to don posh frocks and tuxedos for the occasion are welcome to do so. Tickets can be booked at the cinema’s box office or by calling 0844 856 3797.
