CHILDREN gathered for a harvest celebration in aid of a Calderdale charity.
Youngsters from Todmorden C of E School brought items of food to be donated to the Halifax Food and Support Drop-in Project. The tinned goods, fruit and vegetables will then be distributed to residents in Todmorden.
The celebration at St Mary’s Church also featured each class presenting a piece of harvest themed work including poems and a talk about food production.
Alwyn Sutcliffe, from the school, said: “The church was absolutely packed.”
