THE Rotary and Inner Wheel Clubs of Todmorden will hold the 29th annual Boundary Walk on Sunday May 1.
The 22-mile walk, which closely follows the old borough boundary of Todmorden, starts at Bellholme Sports Centre, on Rochdale Road, at 8am.
The entrance fee is £8 for adults and £5 for children before the day and £10 and £7 respectively on the day.
No dogs are allowed on the walk.
The shorter Pike Hike will also be held this year.
The 12-mile walk starts at Bellholme Sport Centre but follows the canal towpath into Todmorden and on to Eastwood where it joins the last stretch of the Boundary Walk back to Bellholme. Dogs are allowed on this walk.
The entrance fee is £7 for adults and £5 for children before the day and £9 and £7 respectively on the day.
Refreshments are included in the entrance fee.
Participants for both the Boundary Walk and the Pike Hike must be aged ten or over.
Entry forms are available from Todmorden Tourist Information Centre, Margaret’s China Shop on Burnley Road, or online at www.todrotary.org.
Profits from this year’s event will go to Stroke Awareness and Rotary and Inner Wheel charities.
