RESDENTS in the upper Calder Valley are being given the chance to have their say on the area’s cinema.
A consultation is underway to find out people’s opinions about who should run the cinema - Calderdale Council, Hebden Royd Town Council or another group.
The town council is hoping to develop the venue into the best single screen cinema in the country, but needs to make Calderdale aware of the level of support within the area.
The survey is available to complete online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/7JXDXX3, or can be picked up at Hebden Bridge Town Hall, St George’s Street, the libraries in Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd, or from the cinema itself. Everyone completing the survey can also suggest improvements and say what attractions they would like to see there.
Completed surveys are required by Sunday, October 30.
