The wedding took place at St Mary’s Church, Todmorden, on Saturday, August 18, between Lucy Grace Dennett and Martin Christopher Marcola.
Lucy, the granddaughter of two former Mayors of Todmorden, the late Eric Dennett and Harry Tootell, was given away by her father Michael.
The bride wore an off-the-shoulder champagne dress with satin bodice and lace skirt and train. Her bouquet was waterfall style featuring white orchids, cream roses and brandy cala lilies.
She was attended by Sally Eaton and Rebecca Goldthorpe (friends of the bride), Kirsty and Grace MacLeod (the bridegroom’s sisters) who wore lilac silk full-length gowns with champagne sashes.
The flower girls, Olivia and Ava Merriman (the bride’s cousins) wore cream silk fairy dresses with lilac butterfly detail.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Susan Dennett and works as a chef at the Blue Willow café, Todmorden. The bridegroom is the son of Malcolm Marcola and Jayne MacLeod and works as a waiter at Boundary Mill in Colne. After a reception at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Accrington, the couple left for a short stay in Harrogate, followed by honeymoon in Tenerife. The couple will live in Burnley.
