Bright as a button, with rosebud lips and a winning smile - Mya Brooke Earnshaw is the worthy winner of our Cute Kids 2013 competition.

Captivating Mya, born in January this year, is obviously a natural in front of the camera as this heart-warming family portrait shows.

So when the opportunity to enter the Cute Kids contest arose, mum Rachel Bottomley and dad Carl Earnshaw decided to take their second-born along to Morrisons in Todmorden to have her picture taken.

And her happy smile as, sporting a pink floral dress and matching hairband, she proudly displayed two new teeth won over our readers, who voted her the top tot in the Todmorden News and Hebden Bridge Times competition.

Mya lives with her parents and brother Rhys, five, in Pickthall Terrace, Todmorden.

As a result of her success, they can all enjoy a family season pass to Flamingo Land Resort Yorkshire for 2014 worth £350.

Our runners up were Ryley Coates and Alfie Young, who will each receive a family day pass worth £100.

Delighted mum Rachel, a part-time beauty therapist, said of Mya: “She’s a good girl and has always been the perfect baby.”

At the age of 10 months, Mya is already enjoying a social childhood. She attends the children’s centre at Todmorden Community College one day a week and also spends some of her time, when Rachel is working, with her grandmother Linda Earnshaw.
