Jamie has got on his bike for charity trek

A HEBDEN Bridge resident is using peddle power in his latest charity challenge.

Jamie Johnson -the co-founder of Kerbside Recycling, Calder Valley Credit Union, and former Green Party Hebden Royd Town Councillor - has set off to cycle around the coast of Great Britain.

Jamie is hoping that his pedalling efforts will raise funds for Palestinian refugee children courtesy of the Hoping Foundation charity.

Jamie, a current trustee at the Alternative Technology Centre, has set up an online fundraising page to support his bike ride at http://fundraisers.everyclick.com/supporting_palestinian_children.
