A JEWELLERY artist is taking her creations, normally seen on Todmorden and Hebden Bridge markets, to one of the country’s biggest cultural festivals.

Angelini Dee is joining the Big Weekend at Manchester Pride, where 45,000 visitors are expected between August 25 and 27.

“I’m really excited to have a stall on the Manchester Pride Market where I’ll be displaying and selling jewellery I’ve designed and made in Todmorden,” said Angelini, who lives in Cornholme.

She started making jewellery 18 months ago and, when she moved to the area, took the opportunity to take a stall on Todmorden outdoor market.

“The idea of being able to create something which the next day someone wants to buy is immensely satisfying and rewarding,” she said. “Markets are great places to present creations directly to the public.”

She handcrafts childrens, mens and womens jewellery, including personalised items.
