Jo’s delight at top award win

Jo Corbett, who runs the Todmorden branch of children’s music, singing and movement classes Jo Jingles, has won the national organisation’s Franchisee of the Year award for 2014.

Jo attended the Jo Jingles conference in London, where she was delighted to be win the award for the franchise she has run for the past 11 years.

She was very pleased to accept the award from Gill Thomas who founded the company more than 20 years ago.

Gill said: “It is testament to our professionalism and continued progression that we are still one of the country’s leading pre-school music and movement classes.

“Jo Jingles provides a fun and educational introduction to music, singing and movement for children from the age of three months to five years; it has parent and child classes but also works in nurseries and schools.”

Over the past 10 years, Jo Jingles has helped to raise over £650,000 for Children In Need, including the local branch - Jo also runs classes in Rossendale. Fundraising for the Children In Need appeal continued on Saturday, November 29, at its Todmorden Sports Centre headquarters.
