Students perform Pace Egg Play all over valley

Students from Calder High School, Mytholmroyd perform the Midgley Pace Egg Play

When Calder High School students perform the Midgley version of the Pace Egg Play around most districts of the Calder Valley on Good Friday, they will also be raising money for some good causes in the process.

The money raised will be donated to Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team, East African Playgrounds and The Alzheimer’s Society.

They will be performing at the following venues at these times: 8.45am - Banksfield; 9.30am - Todmorden Market; 10.30am - St Michael’s Church, Mytholmroyd; 11am - Holme Street, Hebden Bridge; 11.30am - The Square, Hebden; 12.15pm - The Robin Hood, Pecket Well; 1.15pm - The Marina, Hebden; 2pm - Luddenden; 2.30pm - Midgley; 3pm - Heptonstall.

This year’s cast is: St George - Sam Haywood-Everett; The Fool - Jack Deighton; Bold Slasher/Hector - Chico Kerouac; Black Prince of Paradine - David Wright; King of Egypt - Jed Kuterescz; and Tosspot - Thomas Jennings.
