Lightning strike hits Yorkshire rail route
Trains are delayed on a Yorkshire railway line today after lightning struck lineside equipment.
The incident is affecting the Caldervale Line between Leeds, Bradford Interchange, Halifax and Huddersfield following a thunderstorm on Tuesday afternoon.
Service operators Northern confirmed trains are having to run at reduced speeds due to the damage.
