Bid to revive Hucknall residents’ group
A BID is being made to revive a tenants and residents group to cover the Hucknall Central area.
Melanie Clay, of Ashfield Homes, is the interim tenant participation officer for the initiative.
She says: “This part of Hucknall has been without a group of this kind for some time now. I have received many enquiries from tenants who used to attend meetings and feel it is a shame that the area at present has no community representatives.
“Having arranged a meeting last week, I managed to get interest in the positions of chair and secretary.”
Another meeting is scheduled to take place at Titchfield Court on Orchard Street, Hucknall on Monday April 8 at 6.30 pm with the aim of getting the group up and running. Anyone interested is welcome.
