Book now for WEA autumn courses

THE Workers’ Educational Association is offering a range of courses in the upper Calder Valley this autumn.

“Writing fiction”, with tutor Anna Turner, starts at Hope Chapel, Hebden Bridge, on September 27 at 10am.

“Writing poetry”, with tutor Sally Baker, will take place at Hope Chapel on Thursday afternoons at 1pm, starting at September 27.

“Circle dance for all: Balkan bliss”, with tutor Sophia Hatch, will run at Riverside Junior School, Hebden Bridge, starting on September 25 at 7.30pm.

A similar course for women only will run at New Oddfellows’ Hall, Todmorden, on Thursdays at 10.15am, starting on September 27.

All courses run for ten weeks.

A weekend course in dry stone walling will take place at Hardcastle Crags on October 13 and 14.
