Can you find a home for any of these cats?

THE Calder Valley branch of Cats Protection re-homed a total of 60 cats and kittens for the whole of last year.

We are always on the lookout for more volunteers and if you think you could offer any of your time to help or you want to talk to someone about the possibilities, you can ring the central telephone line on 01706 810489.

We are currently looking for permanent homes for Billy, Norman and Ozzie and if you think you could offer any of these lovely cats a home can you please contact our central telephone number.

Billy is a ginger and white male approximately seven months old.

He is very playful and affectionate although he may be a little timid until he gets to know you better.

He gets on well with other cats and dogs and he likes to read the paper with you.

Norman is a white and black male approximately nine months old.

He is very affectionate and loves his cuddles but can be headstrong at times and would need someone to be firm with him. Norman also gets on with other cats and dogs.

Ozzie is a tabby male approximately three years old.

He was left behind when his owner moved house.

He's a lovely lad who's a bit of a couch potato given the chance.

All cats are fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped as well as being vet checked including "flead and wormed".

If you already have a cat, don't forget that Cats Protection offer a free neutering service and if you need more information on this please contact our central telephone line.

l Dried catnip we have received in the past from a few people who read The Cat magazine is getting a bit old and isn't as strong as it used to be.

If anyone has some, we would appreciate donations of freshly dried catnip to us.

The last time we appealed we received a couple of large parcels but that was several years ago.

They've lasted well but will run out soon – and nothing seems to work as good as freshly dried.

If you can help, please contact us on the telephone number above.
