Car boot sale for Scouts this Sunday (Aug 1)
A CAR boot sale will take place on Sunday to raise funds for a local scout group.
Upper Calder Charities Assist (UCCA) has organised the event to support the 20th Pennine Calder Scouts, who are trying to raise enough money to buy a minibus to help with transport for their many activities.
The car boot sale will be held on Salford Way, off Rochdale Road, Todmorden, setting up at 8am to start at 9am.
Shirley Fielder, from UCCA, said: "We are trying to help the scouts by setting up a car boot sale every month.
"We are hoping to get it established so it can be an ongoing thing."
