Centre’s ‘Olympic style’ equipment arrives

New fitness equipment similar to that used in the Olympic Village has been delivered to Todmorden Sports Centre.

The arrival of the equipment marks the completion of the gym extension and refurbishment.

Centre manager Nick Hartley said: “The gym is looking fantastic and we will be welcoming new customers from September 29 and 30 when the centre will be holding its open weekend.”

Current users can benefit from sneak previews and enjoy the new equipment from this week.

Instructors will be on site greeting users and offering their support with the new kit.

They can also book their re-inductions now.

New customers can book their tours for the open weekend by calling the sports centre on 01706 811701.
