“We’re open for business as usual,” is the message from Todmorden outdoor market traders.
Some traders said they feared the work of the market steering group and publicity its report generated has detracted from the business being done on the market and wanted to put a clear message over.
“While all the discussions are about the long-term future, it’s equally important people know the outdoor market is open as usual and looking forward to busy spring and summer trading particularly with Tour de Tod events,” said Jeff Thomson of the Saturday outdoor market stall, curried away.

The Market Hall is also open as usual.
