Crackdown call on speeders

Speeding motorists are still concerning Todmorden safety campaigners.

PCSO Helliwell informed members of Todmorden Accident Prevention Council speed enforcement was being carried out in various Todmorden locations when manpower and workload permitted.

Members agreed to continue to press for more speed enforcement with the evening period a particular concern when some vehicles appeared to travel at speeds considerably above the speed limits, and that sometimes vehicles appeared to be racing.
