Crews called to house fire in Calder Valley

Three fire crews were called to a house fire in Heptonstall this afternoon (Sunday).

Fire engines from Halifax, Elland and Todmorden stations attended the incident, which caused limited damage to the front room of the property.

Smoke alarms alerted neighbours at about 1.20pm this afternoon but there were no injuries as the house was unoccupied.
