Cyclist airlifted to hospital
The North West Air Ambulance was called in to airlift an injured cyclist to Leeds General Infirmary.
Police were called to a collision between the cyclist and a car at 2.52pm on Wednesday, February 27, at the junction of Bacup Road and Rochdale Road.
The cyclist’s injuries are believed to be serious but not life threatening.
