Drugs hearing

A MAN has admitted producing cannabis at his home.

Gareth Marshall, 30, of Industrial Street, Todmorden, was found with eight large plants and two small cannabis plants. Calderdale Magistrates’ Court was told they ranged in height from 70cm to one and a half metres. The street value of the plants is said to range from £3,700 to £7.500.

Officers found lighting, a tent and plant food at the house.

Kieron Green, representing Marshall, said his client smoked 30 to 40 joints of cannabis a day. Marshall was unconditionally bailed until March 27 when he will appear at Bradford Crown Court.
